Bold Layers for a Fun Weekend

This last week, I got an ADORABLE package in complimentary from Blue Velvet Boutique. I got these shorts and this denim jacket from them! This denim jacked is to die for!! I know that I am going to be wearing the heck out of it this spring! It is long enough to cover your bootie, has pockets you can actually use and it is distressed to the perfect amount! I feel like the light color of the denim will be perfect for spring!

Next are these shorts.. HOW FUN ARE THESE!? I can already tell you how much I am going to be wearing these… its a lot! You can dress them down how I did with this number, or up with a cute black lace top and heels! Overall, both of these pieces they sent are going to be staples in my closet! This weekend, I have been dog/housesitting for someone on Rover (its a dog sitting app!). The dog I am sittings name is Ray and he’s a 130 pound, Douge de Bordeaux and he is SO CUTE! I can definitely tell how he can be a tad intimidating, but he is such a cuddle bug. All he wants to do is play, and cuddle. If you ever use Rover, definitely set up a meet and greet first. It really helps with the jitters and being comfortable around the dog you are sitting.

Have a Happy Sunday friends! I am going to be headed home for the day and tomorrow to hang out with my grandparents and see the family. I can’t wait to see them!
