“First Trimester Must Haves” was a blog post I found myself searching for the entire first trimester. I was fortunate enough not to have any morning sickness–I only felt sick when I would overeat (LOL). However, there were a few things that kept me accountable, and I used them all of the time! Let’s get to it!
Belly Oils | I used both of these and still do. I love the Hatch Mama, but it is pricy, and in a glass bottle, so it is not that great for traveling. I do think it rubs in better and has less of a scent than the Bio-Oil. But truly they are both great!
Belly Butter | This is to top it off when I am wanting to feel extra moisturized. It is super thick but rubs in very nicely.
Prenatal Vitamins | I love, love, love these. I have been taking them since 2021 (off and on). They also have a normal women’s multivitamin if you don’t want to take a prenatal.
Polaroid Camera | To take those bump pictures — duh! However, I have been SO BAD about doing this.
Cozy Socks | My feet have been so so so cold this entire pregnancy. Wearing socks to bed has been a new development, and I absolutely love these. They keep me warm but not bundled to where I get too hot.
Relaxed Fit Bra | Before I lost weight, I wore a 36DD bra, and we were about to pop out. Being pregnant, your boobs get bigger, and these bras have been all I can wear since about 4 weeks in. They are so comfortable! HIGHLY recommend.
Tumbler | Yeah, yeah… Stanley tumblers are great. But personally, I like this one better. It is not as cute, but it isn’t as tall, so it is easier to maneuver around in my opinion. It really keeps me on track with drinking my water every day.
Pregnancy Journal | I have really enjoyed this journal. It has places for your ultrasounds and you document milestone dates and feelings and thoughts about each week.
Lip Mask | My skin (while it has been acne-ridden) has been dry, dry, dry. I think the pregnancy glow has something to do with people using heavy moisturizers – including lip masks. This baby is taking all of the moisture out of my skin.
Jet Lag Mask | Read above.
I hope that this helps just one of you. These products have helped me immensely, and I can not wait to see what the 2nd trimester holds! Want to see some announcement photos? Check them out!
