There are a few things that I just keep pulling out of my closet that I have had for YEARS. You know what those things always tend to be? Solids. There for a while, I was only buying bright colors and prints. As much as I love both of those things, I found myself searching for solids in my closet and not being able to find anything. For work, for dinner, or a casual outing… anything!
I have found myself wearing this skirt that I got three years ago at H&M every single fall. It is one of my go-tos! Also a plain black long sleeve tee and a vest. I mean, this just screams fall to me! In addition to screaming fall, you can wear it with anything. Leggings? Skinny Jeans? Mom jeans? Skirts? You got it! I have linked some of my favorite fall basics that can take you from year to year and they are staples that will never go out of style.

Also, I am unsure if you guys have ever heard of P448 sneakers, but I had some platform Golden Goose (Hi-Stars) and they were SO uncomfortable and $$$$$. I heard about P448 sneakers and immediately loved the look. You can shop a whole slew of them HERE. I actually saw that a local boutique, Indigo had some in store so I felt the sole of them and my gosh- immediately felt more soft than the Golden Goose. I will say, I have never had a pair of the GG Superstar sneakers so I can not attest to how comfortable those are. I will say, I have some Veja sneakers and once you break those in…. SO COMFORTABLE. I wore them in Vegas for my Bachelorette party after my feet were hurting from the GG and they were a life saver. I am actually getting Derek THESE for Christmas.
If you guys missed my Instagram story- I started graduate school this week! I am pursing getting a Masters degree is Strategic Communication. This blog actually helped me come to the realization that I genuinely love communication and how information gets distributed. I am so excited to begin and even more excited to be done (LOL). So basically if you are the praying kind, I would appreciate all of the prayers and good vibes sent my way. If you have any good tips also please let me know- Lord knows I need them all! That is all for today 🙂
