A modern bridal shower for the simple bride? Let’s do it! Derek’s brother is getting married to his sweet Bride to be at the beginning of August! She has a few wedding showers, but I wanted to host her something small and with her close friends here locally. We called it Champagne & Charcuterie!

One of my good friends, Kimberly, and her husband started a company called The Picnic Soiree. The Picnic Soiree hosts luxury picnics in the Central Arkansas area. You can see from the photos that it is adorable! They bring blankets and pillows to sit down on, the table, chargers/plates, cutlery, glasses, water, and table decorations. They even bring games to give you something extra to do during the picnic. The Picnic Soiree also has an add-on menu where you can purchase extras to come with your picnic, including a floral arrangement, balloons, and arches for decoration. I reached out to another local company called JustPeachy for the balloon installation. They are very popular in Little Rock and do major balloon installations for grand openings, themed parties, etc. They are incredible! I picked the colors for this “party post,” and they even ordered “KB” for me! I loved how it added extra detail to this casual morning picnic.
I did not send out mailed invitations since it was only six people, so we put them all in a group text! I did want to make something cute for the picnic, so I went to Canva and created this cute name card. I stopped by Whimsy Cookie Co. and got a dozen “Miss to Mrs.” branded cookies to add just a little bit more detail. They were the perfect finishing touch!
I can not wait to welcome my sweet future sister-in-law to the family officially! I am so happy that we got the chance to celebrate her! xoxo
