Back in 2019, Derek and I knew we wanted to have our friend, Jenanne, create Derek and custom, one of a kind tuxedo for our wedding day. [You can see some of the planning process in a precious post I did HERE.]
Jenanne is one of the best in the business. When discussing what we wanted for Derek, she made the suggestion to have him in a different color than the other groomsman. I didn’t understand at first, but it made him stand out just as much as I did in my gown. And at the end of the day, this was just as much his day as it was mine. So I wanted him to be able to be pointed out in a crowd as well.
He came out with a gorgeous double-breasted, navy blue patterned tuxedo, with built in buttons for suspenders, a custom lining with our engagement photos, and our date stitched into the collar. All of these small details made for a remarkable momento of our wedding. As you can see in the photos, the tuxedo fits like a glove! We also purchased the groomsmen’s ties and socks from Barakat Bespoke as well. Jenanne and her store are a one stop shop for amazing quality men’s clothing.
xoxo, Brooke Anne
